When the Server is Down, Everything is!
When the two media specialists were out for the day on for a workshop, the network was also down. The snowy weather may have contributed to it. This was a problem at more than our school. Other schools did not have computer and telephone access. This is something to reflect on and consider.
The network problem and this is something worth noting how important it would be for a school to allow access to computer application programs without connecting to the server.
That same day, another issue was brought to my attention for future reflection. Hiring a substitute that has technology knowledge so that students can have someone that understands in case they need assistance was a valuable learning lesson.
